On Sunday morning, the breakfast room (aka restaurant) displayed traces of the previous night 's 40th birthday party: My full Scottish came with white toast this time, as requested.. and I didn't have the appetite for it! (Forgot to mention, hallelujah, they serve proper sausages here - I cannot abide English ones. Anyway.) I didn't seem to have much of an appetite for it all on this morning. Ah well. The large table was fuller of Liverpudlians than the night before, and again the banter was good.. With the hotel so full the night before, and most people having had breakfast already, they were almost out of cold drinks.. I had a glass of milk. When we'd both checked out, we headed out on a mission of JW 's.. he had family history in the area, and wanted to check the Parish Church kirkyard for the grave of a couple of ancestors.
