Knightsbridge & Belgravia Crimbo Walk

Last night , back with  Mandy  and her new  Meetup  group (ahem)  Rat-Arsed Tours ! This was her  Knightsbridge & Belgravia Crimbo Walk  - and gee, she puts so much effort into  these! Also advertised with  London Herstory Walks . We were originally to meet in  The Plumbers Arms , but the location then changed to  Tattersalls Tavern . And just like last time, I got a workout with my laptop on my back, it being my one day a week in the office.. Well, I was closer than coming from home - it didn't take too long by bus, although the second bus was a bit delayed. Funnily enough, as I waited for it, two people asked me for directions, separately - I must have that sort of face. The first was waiting for a bus that happened along as she was speaking - the second was looking for the Ritz . Which, as I explained, was right behind her - you could see the sign! Ah, I love being asked easy questions.. I arrived at my destination a little...

Rat-Arsed Tours: St. James & Dance: R: Evolution

Back in London - fortunately, considering I nearly crashed the car on the way to the airport ! I was so tired, I literally fell asleep at the wheel. A micro-sleep - I awoke before I crashed into the ditch. Did end up ripping a tyre to bits, driving over rocks - the guy who looks after it will be fixing it before I get back. Hopefully. At least the flight had better aircon, on the return journey. Anyway , yesterday marked the start of a six-day  Meetup  run, finally back with  Mandy Morrow , who's running a new type of event called  Rat-Arsed Tours ! (Historic walk and pub crawl, basically.) Tickets available from  Eventbrite , and it was starting in St. James. We were finally told to meet in The Clarence . And I only just beforehand realised I'd be in the office that day, and lugging my laptop.. uhh.. I could have left a little earlier, but was finishing something, so I didn't. I could walk there from the office though, so I did - and the laptop was fine, it was...
